Twinbrook Homeowners,
Mark your calendars! We will host our Twinbrook Owners Association annual meeting on Monday, September 9th from 7:30 to 9:00 PM at the Kingstowne Library. This will be an in-person meeting and will not be streamed or broadcasted. We value your feedback, and we encourage as much participation and community engagement as possible! If you are unable to attend, please download the proxy form so that we may have a quorum. The proxy form must be signed and given to a member of the association who is eligible to vote at the annual meeting.
In addition to our annual reports from our Officers and Committee Chairs, we will also have a progress report of our neighborhood sign. If there is new business you would like to put forward at the meeting, please send it to us and we will ensure it makes it into the agenda which we will push out prior to the meeting.
As we cap this summer season, we are pleased to note that we received positive feedback on the community mailbox and the necessary pruning of the trees and foliage facing Telegraph Road. Thank you to the Reserve and Landscaping Committees in taking the time and effort in making this happen!
Lastly, with schools starting up this week, we kindly ask you follow the speed limit along Accotink Road and pay close attention to pedestrian traffic and school bus stops at all times, especially at the entrances to Hanson Lane.
